We are looking for our next farm hand, maybe that’s you.
Applications are open for the 2022 season Farm Hand position at The Edible Garden Project, working at beautiful Loutet Farm. If you would like to spend the summer working in the soil and garlic rows with us, we’d love to hear from you!
The Farm Hand will work closely with the Farm Coordinator to support the on-going farm operations and they will be a key part of our Harvest Team, which is responsible for harvesting and processing vegetables twice per week for the markets. The Farm Hand will support the Market Coordinator to manage twice-weekly farm markets. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about food security, food justice and environmental sustainability initiatives.
This position is 35 hours/week, at $16/hour, and the candidate must be 30 years of age or younger, and a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident, to satisfy grant stipulations
