We’re Hiring for the 2026 Season!
We are currently hiring two Project Assistants! These seasonal roles are crucial to the important work that EGP does on the North Shore and beyond. We are looking for folks that are passionate about farming, food systems, environmental education, and community, who believe in working for an organization that is aligned with their values, and who love working in a team to achieve goals and have fun.
Please note these positions are dependent on grant funding.
The Project Assistants will work closely with the Farm Coordinator to support the on-going farm operations and they will be a key part of our Harvest Team, which is responsible for harvesting and processing vegetables twice per week for the market and food bank. The Project Assistants will also support the Project Coordinator to manage weekly Saturday farmer’ markets. They will help to supervise farm volunteers, with support and guidance from the Farm and Project Coordinator.
We have two schedule options this season, Monday – Friday and Tuesday – Saturday. If you love working outdoors and are interested in learning more about farming in an urban context, apply today!
Read the full postings here (Monday – Friday) and here (Tuesday – Saturday).
