Colleen MacDonald is the new manager of the Edible Garden Project at the North Shore Neighbourhood House. Colleen was raised on the North Shore and continues to call this beautiful part of our city home. She is a passionate plant-lover and her career has been rooted in horticulture, nature, and our environment. For many years she owned and operated her own landscaping business with a focus on sustainable design and water-wise gardening. She carried this experience into the floral industry with her own flower shop. Colleen spends much of her spare time in her Fraser Valley garden where she grows vegetables and ornamentals using earth friendly techniques. She is thrilled about the position and looks forward to working with such an inspiring group who have made the Edible Garden Project such a growing success.
