Have you ever wandered the farmers’ market wondering, “what is that leafy vegetable?” Join nutritionist Vashti Verbowski to explore the mysteries of the farmers’ market and discover a whole new world of spring and summer bounty for your kitchen table. There is no need to be an expert chef to join this workshop – the recipes shared will be simple and delicious!

Vashti Verbowski is a Register Dietitian with the College of Dieticians of BC, and holds a BSc in Dietetics from the University of British Columbia. She has worked in private practice, and has been a clinical dietitian specializing in diabetes at St Paul’s Hospital for four years. Vashti believes that eating well is just as important to our health as it is to our sense of culture and well-being. She enjoys cooking, trying new recipes, experimenting with new ingredients, and savouring the sight, smell, texture, and taste of food. You can learn more about Vashti and check out her video blogs at Your Kitchen Dietician.
