Seedy Saturday is a free event geared towards knowledge sharing, community building and awareness and advocacy of seeds and seed saving. We know that North Vancouver is already home to a ton of experienced and enthusiastic gardeners, who are interested in growing their own food and gardening in a way that reduces our impact on the environment. More and more, gardeners are looking for local, organically produced seeds, and they want interesting and unusual varieties. Seedy Saturday is an opportunity for local seed savers to bring in their seeds and swap with other community members, but it’s also for anyone who wants to know more about seeds and growing!
Intro to Seed Saving workshop with David Catzel from the BC Eco Seed Co-op will start at 12:30 pm. Space limited so reserve your space on Eventbrite!

If you would like to bring seeds to swap, please make sure they are packaged and labelled before the event. You are not required to bring seeds to attend the event.
