Ground has been broken and water lines laid at the Lillooet Park Community Garden in the District of North Vancouver. Come out Saturday July 17th and Sunday July 18th (9am-2pm) to begin laying out the garden and building raised beds. If you are interested in attending, please email: volunteer AT ediblegardenproject DOT com for schedule and location details.
The garden is a construction site. Volunteers need to be prepared and safe on site and follow WorkSafe procedures. Please wear the following: Long sleeves and long pants (cedar is hard on bare skin!), Steel toed boots, Work gloves, Sunglasses or other eye protection, Sunscreen, Water bottle, Hat.
