The Farm to Feast fundraiser dinner was a spectacular evening, and we want to thank everyone that made it happen!

Whole Foods Market in West Vancouver was the main sponsor, but they were so much more than that. We worked with their team for months developing the idea and planning the details. They are an incredible bunch of people to work with, and I am really looking forward to doing it again! Whole Foods’ support also meant that 100% of money raised from ticket sales and the silent auction went to the Edible Garden Project’s programs instead of covering event costs (amazing!!).  THANK YOU WHOLE FOODS!

Dinner Sponsors:

Each of our Dinner Sponsors brought something special to the table (literally), and we want to thank them deeply for their contribution to creating such a delicious evening:

Summerhill Pyramid Winery: Guests enjoyed three wines paired with each course of the meal. Ezra and his wife also joined us for the evening, introduced each wine pairing, and added something  special to the evening by reminding us to slow down, really taste everything we ate, and appreciate where it came from.

harkersHarkers Organics: Sara and Troy shared amazing produce and wine from their farm, but their stone fruit was the spectacular dessert  – roasted and topped with soft cheese! It was lovely to have them join us and share some of their farm’s five-generation story.

bluegoose-graphicBlue Goose Cattle Company: The skirt steaks that Blue Goose shared with us were simply spectacular, and I’m glad that Sam could join us to tell us where the steaks had come from and some of the Blue Goose story.

parallel49Parallel 49 Brewing: Shared a delightful selection of beer paired with each course!

famr hourseFarm House Natural Cheeses: The cheese that Farmhouse shared with us added an extra level of deliciousness and decadence to our meal. I’ll be searching them out in my next visit to the supermarket.

Silent Auction Contributors:

We also hosted a Silent Auction amongst the pole beans, which was a big success. Thank you to all of the local businesses and community members that contributed their excellent wares, and to everyone that bid!
