Stephanie, Education Coordinator

Halfway through her degree at the University of Victoria, Stephanie discovered permaculture, began thinking about food security and systems, and never looked back. She completed her Permaculture Design Certificate and eventually settled in Vancouver after spending time on Vancouver Island and Haida Gwaii. Working in the non-profit world for the past couple of years has shown Stephanie that education is a powerful tool for igniting change and inspiring stewardship, and she’s passionate about grassroots organizations combining advocacy with hands-on experience. Stephanie is excited to share her passion for growing and sharing food as the EGP’s Education Coordinator and will be working to grow an equitable food system on the North Shore through place-based learning, especially in the context of the unceded Coast Salish territories upon which she works.
