Anna (she/they) was born and raised in so-called Vancouver on unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. In a world of escalating climate crisis and economic inequality, they believe that resilient and accessible local food systems for all are more important than ever.
After working for 10 years in community organizing and digital fundraising for progressive nonprofits, Anna decided to try her hand at small-scale farming at the Richmond Farm School – and loved it. They are thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to building a just and vibrant local food community with the Edible Garden Project!
