Workshop: Composting Basics & Beyond

This is a Capilano University Continuing Education Course

Taught by Emily Jubenvill, this workshop will review the basics of composting; provide an overview of and present the pros and cons of three major types of composting (cold, hot, and worm based); and discuss the basics of the soil food web. You learn practical techniques to compost at home, connect to local resources, and participate in hands-on composting. Half of the class will be held outdoors, so dress appropriately for the weather.
